Group Leader | Enjoy a current events discussion, a hand of cards, a round of bingo or a board game with one or more residents.

Escort | Ride along with residents to outside appointments.

Reader | Enjoy a great book, poetry or magazines together with residents.

Letter/Email Writer | Help residents keep in touch with loved ones by writing a letters, e-mails or sending a postcard.

Artist, Craftsperson, Musician | Share your own special talents in a creative way.

Special Events Helper | Assist at one of our several annual events.

Activities Helper | Pitch in and lend a hand by helping the Activities Department with cooking classes, sing-alongs, happy hour or holiday parties.

"I never could have envisioned that I would feel so much joy working with residents. I realized that each and every resident has emotional and social needs and that I was instrumental in fulfilling those needs. The smiles on their faces touch my heart. I always knew i enjoyed working with children, but never realized that working with older people would be so satisfying. Sometimes the activities I either assist with or conduct are the highlights of their day. I don't believe the residents will ever know that they bring me more happiness than I bring them. They become part of my family. I will forever be thankful that the Center invited me to be a part of their 'home'."
